Q: What are the minimum computer requirements to use TreatWrite?
A: TreatWrite is an internet based application. That means you need only have an internet connection, and are using a supported web browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0, Firefox or Safari. There is no installation required!
 
Q: Will TreatWrite work on my Mac (Apple Computer)?
A: Yes! Just open your Safari web browser and go to www.treatwrite.com.
 
Q: Why is TreatWrite web-based?
A: We wanted to create the most complete and flexible electronic documentation system. As a web based product, TreatWrite allows you to receive constant product and regulation upgrades, free new feature releases, total security of patient records with comprehensive data protection and redundant back-up systems, minimal expense for additional computer hardware upgrades, and the flexibility to work from multiple practice locations.
 
Q: We have multiple therapists in more than one location.
How many users/therapists can I set up?
A: TreatWrite has no limit for subscribed users per practice or branch office. In fact, TreatWrite allows you to set up and administer multiple branches (office locations) and their respective therapists.
 
Q: How many patients can I enter in TreatWrite? Is there a limit?
A: There are no limits to the number of patients or their corresponding data you can enter into the TreatWrite system.
 
Q: Are my patients’ data protected?
A: Yes! First, TreatWrite’s database servers and web portal are fully HIPAA compliant, guaranteeing the privacy of all records. Second, we have multiple redundant, offsite backups of all of our servers and customer files. Backups occur daily, weekly and monthly.
 
Q: Is TreatWrite HIPAA compliant?
A: Yes.
 
Q: Can TreatWrite be used by Occupational and Physical Therapists?
A: TreatWrite OT is scheduled for release in Q4 2008 with our anticipated release of TreatWrite PT in Q1 of 2009. Contact customer service for information and beta opportunities related to these product releases.
